From 283 activities · Apr 2026ENS (Ethereum Name Service) is a foundational decentralized naming system that transforms long wallet addresses into simple, human-readable .eth names, making crypto transactions safer, easier, and more accessible. Users consistently praise it for eliminating copy-paste errors, enabling seamless integration across wallets and dApps, and providing true ownership of digital identity independent of centralized platforms. While widely recognized as essential Web3 infrastructure with strong community support and a notable airdrop history, some concerns have been raised about pricing decisions and domain renewal fees.

Received · 405Given · 0“be special”ENS Domains is an awesome project that makes it super easy to create and manage decentralized domains in the Web3 space. The website is clean and straightforward, so even if you’re new to blockchain, you can figure out how to register your domain without a headache. The process is fast, secure, and integrates perfectly with wallets and other Web3 tools. I love how it empowers users to own their digital identity in a decentralized way, cutting out middlemen and giving you full control. The team behind ENS is also active and keeps improving the platform, which makes it a reliable choice for anyone looking to dive into the future of the internet. be special, like it

AnnA · 1295· 1y ago11“Portal to seamless Web3 identity”ENS makes blockchain wallet addresses user-friendly. Instead of sending funds to 0x..., you use a .eth name like alice.eth, that is clean and memorable. You can link names to crypto addresses, build decentralized websites, create subdomains and even integrate with Sign In With Ethereum (SIWE) for Web3 login credentials. ENS is DAO governed, but at launch developers held ~75% of tokens. Plans are underway to decentralize control, but skepticism remains about long-term autonomy. Market dynamics show both strength and risk. ENS domains often trade aggressively on secondary markets sometimes for premiums well above ETH holdings. But squatting and resale speculation remain a concern. Though you gain name-based convenience, linking an ENS to a wallet exposes your transactions publicly. Anonymity may become compromised if you connect identities elsewhere. ENS continues serving core use cases: a Web3 username, collectible clubs, decentralized websites and wallet simplification. It’s integrated into over 200 major products like Coinbase, Uniswap, and Brave. If you’re building in Web3 or sending crypto regularly, ENS offers real convenience. But if privacy and decentralization matter most, you’ll need to weigh anonymity tradeoffs carefully.

The roadmap is clear and the infrastructure is strong, but the user experience for everyday folks still needs more love before it becomes truly universal.

Naireee · 1200· 1y ago11“Domains actually had aura”Obviously a far-cry from the ETH mania but sporting a rare ENS gave you a lot of aura back then. Endless hours looking for discounted .eth handles and trying to find your identity was an awesome time. It had it’s own little meta. Conceptually, ENS is the phonebook of web3, simple as that. Turning long, unreadable wallet addresses into clean, human names (@yourname.eth) isn’t just a flex, it’s foundational. But ENS is more than vanity, it’s utility. It’s identity, interoperability, and ownership all rolled into one. It’s how Ethereum starts feeling like home. And while others scramble for relevance, ENS quietly keeps doing its thing: open, decentralized, and still one of the most slept-on pillars of crypto infrastructure which is why I’m gonna positively review this.

cj · 1394· 1y ago19“Very usefull progect”ENS.eth is basically like usernames for crypto. Instead of those super long wallet addresses, you can just use a simple name like yourname.eth and people can send you tokens easily. I’m not some pro in crypto, but for me it feels like a really big deal — it makes everything less confusing and way more user-friendly. Honestly, I think ENS is one of the most important tools in Web3, because without stuff like this, normal people will never want to use crypto.

A must-reference account for anyone who truly wants to leverage the scalability and accessibility of the ENS ecosystem, not just promote or mention it.

호밍빵 · 1291· 1y ago13“Actually usefull”One of the projects that when it cam to crypto i bet we were all like "this was definitely missing from crypto". It's not only helpful for sending tokens to the correct address more conveniently, but also to find addresses faster, truly an amazing project!

Oshikurou · 1434· 1y ago13“The GodFather of web 3 domain”Before i buy domain like $ on cardano, .somi on somnia, .base.eth on base, etc ens was my first. I remember, buy ens for speculation, lookin for the good one or weird one for flipping, but my ens never sold on secondary hahahahaha. Ens bring something new in this spaces, so many chain following what ens do in eth. The Godfather.
