From 283 activities · Apr 2026ENS (Ethereum Name Service) is a foundational decentralized naming system that transforms long wallet addresses into simple, human-readable .eth names, making crypto transactions safer, easier, and more accessible. Users consistently praise it for eliminating copy-paste errors, enabling seamless integration across wallets and dApps, and providing true ownership of digital identity independent of centralized platforms. While widely recognized as essential Web3 infrastructure with strong community support and a notable airdrop history, some concerns have been raised about pricing decisions and domain renewal fees.

ENS lets you swap in something simple like “yourname.eth” instead of a hopelessly long wallet string, and it works like a universal nickname across wallets, DApps, or even decentralized web. It’s practical and feels like leveling up your Web3 identity. mine is argonstark.eth

They were the first ones who introduced domains and let us escape the world of ugly looking wallet addresses. Made really solid and fair airdrop as well, which I unfortunately missed. I hope to see additional use cases and innovations from those guys except just coolness. Maybe I am asking too much)

Anginaparina · 1295· 1y ago14“Web3 Identity”ENS was a great idea being able to label your Eth wallets and making transactions more simplified. I don't know much beyond that but I do have my own ENS and love to use it. Overall, ENS for me is not just a domain service; it has become a part of my Web3 identity. If you’re looking for a secure, simple, and reliable way to manage blockchain addresses, I definitely recommend ENS.

Sogito · 1314· 1y ago14“Your Identity Across the Web3 Universe”ENS is more than just a username — it’s your passport to the decentralized internet. Whether you're interacting on Ethereum, showcasing your onchain reputation, or simplifying wallet addresses, ENS brings clarity and consistency. With deep integration across wallets, dApps, and social layers like Farcaster, ENS is shaping the standard for digital identity in Web3. Simple, human-readable, and truly yours.

Beyond simplifying wallet addresses, it gave me an identity in Web3 that feels permanent. Sure, renewals can be annoying, but the utility and recognition ENS brings make it worth holding onto. It’s a must-have for anyone serious about crypto.

Unfortunately, I wasn't early enough to scoop an ENS identity during its early stage, but still, I'm glad I'm currently one of its holder presently.
