Received · 1Given · 0“The SOFTRUG is priced at 100 million”I first came across Human Protocol about three years ago through the Coinlist tokensale. The roots of this project trace back to Hcaptcha [https://docs.humanprotocol.org/hub/human-tech-docs/architecture/components/annotation-tools/hcaptcha], which many know through Discord or other services where it is in demand. Human Captcha is likely the second-largest captcha and anti-bot service after Google Captcha. However, the problem seems to be that the team isn't generating enough profit from this service, and they decided to seize their opportunity when everyone was excited about token sales on Coinlist. They created their startup idea literally on the fly and reached out to Coinlist representatives to organize a tokensale. The token price was outrageous, the fundraising goal was doubled, and ultimately, they raised 50-70 million. Have you heard anything about this project today? I doubt it. The team is quietly and calmly pressing the neutral pedal and rolling along to avoid notice. I don't have data, but it's likely that all this money has long been divided among the key team members, and each of them is quite the DeFi degenerate today. It's surprising, isn't it? You could say that a large company, a competitor to Google in one of its niches, is tempted by the crypto hype and creates a fictitious startup with front people.
