“Team Base”Jesse has been trying his best to push adoption of Base and bring masses onchain. Sometimes goes overboard with experimenting like coming up with the 'Coin everything' meme, that caused an outrage on crypto twitter. Needs to know better what narrative to push, especially from the position he comes from.

“Based builder, but sometimes questionable”The CEO of Base, no doubt Jesse is definitely a based builder. He deserves huge respect and commendation for what he has accomplished - Building Base from the ground up and encouraging/empowering builders to build on Base, and supporting them. However, his recent obsession with "coining your content", and shilling zora to the masses for the past week was questionable. Right after Base and Jesse started shilling zora, zora announced their TGE in a few days. Though Jesse claimed they have no part to play in zora's TGE, it's too much of a coincidence and many find it hard to believe this wasn't all planned. Adding fuel to fire was how poorly zora conducted their TGE with lack of communication, transparency, and responsibility. After realizing their TGE was a disaster, they claimed zora was for fun only and not for investment purposes. No way this doesn't let the community think Base and Jesse was just trying to hype and pump zora up so insiders could sell on the community. I would have given Jesse a positive review if he stepped up and communicated with the community, showing some signs or effort he will find out what is going on when Zora went radio silence after their token went live for 2 hours before any announcements were made, but he didn't. Jesse chose to remain silent and continue shilling zora with his reposts. Because of all these, I'm giving Jesse a neutral review instead.

“Base goat”Jesse is one of the leaders of Base. He is an incredible person who is genuinely passionate about Base. Personally, I enjoy watching how he develops the Base ecosystem. I would just ask him to be a bit more careful and cautious before supporting projects on Base.

“Doing his best to bring crypto and base to the masses - but often its not in a great way”I have to commend Jesse in that he is definitely passionate about onboarding everyone to Base and crypto. He does a really good job of promoting new projects that are building on Base. However, I cant stand the coin for everything movement and ditto their version of creator coins. He and base act so holier than though about what are essentially just shitcoins, and they wash their hands of the fact that people who buy these coins are getting rekt.

The kind of guy who gives Base not only direction, but also personality. That’s why for me, he’ll always be the guy I associate with the growth and the energy of Base.
