So this is a neutral review - nothing bad about it, but I don't hear much talk of it other than from early investors.

When I started studying this new “blockchain” or rather “blockDAG” I found the idea brilliant. I followed the project for a long time and even bought some tokens. I was especially interested in the upgrade from 1 BPS to 10 BPS, which was a success. Technically, it’s a chain that seems to have everything: it’s fast, efficient, and backed by a very competent team. However, it hasn’t really found its audience yet. I don’t see strong traction or major adoption. Is it because smart contracts were introduced quite late? Or maybe it’s simply operating in a world where existing blockchains already meet most users’ needs. In any case, I’m still following what Kaspa is building with great interest, hoping that one day it will truly stand out from other blockchains.

Unlike traditional blockchains that process transactions sequentially, Kaspa utilizes the GHOSTDAG protocol, a Directed Acyclic Graph (DAG) structure, allowing multiple blocks to be created simultaneously. This innovative approach enables the network to achieve high throughput and low latency without compromising security or decentralization. Launched in November 2021, Kaspa is an open-source, community-driven project with no pre-mining or central governance. Its native cryptocurrency, KAS, serves as the backbone of the network, facilitating transaction validation, security, and miner rewards. Kaspa's commitment to decentralization is evident in its Proof-of-Work (PoW) consensus mechanism, which ensures that no single entity can control the network. This approach not only maintains the integrity of the blockchain but also aligns with the ethos of cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin. With a current market capitalization of approximately $2.7 billion and a circulating supply of over 26 billion KAS tokens, Kaspa is gaining traction among developers and investors alike. Its unique blend of speed, scalability, and security positions it as a formidable contender in the blockchain space.

Not sure if it has what it takes but will keep an eye out for new developments and hopefully we can finally see Nakamoto's consensus unchained.

They made it more efficient and effective for the people to further maximize what Bitcoin is currently doing. Definitely a must watch. Team is building day and night!

Keira · 1426· 1y ago12“An up and coming L1”Fast, reliable and pretty new to the race, KASPA has had a few memecoin runners but not enough attention it deserves yet. Being hailed as the fastest POW chain is no joke. With similar structure to BTC's framework, i dont see why not it scales as BTC does its run.

POW with a blockDAG architecture that enables real-time confirmations, no premine, and a truly decentralized ethos, it stands out in a noisy market. This isn’t a copy paste L1. It’s what Bitcoin might’ve looked like if it was designed today. My conviction is simple: Kaspa isn’t a bet. It’s the benchmark.
