“All Talk and No Real Delivery”Kevin Rose might have had a big name coming into Web3, especially with Moonbirds, but the reality didn’t live up to the hype. I was part of the community and saw how many big promises turned into nothing. He admitted to being more of an idea man than an executor, and that pattern shows throughout his career. For many in the space, it felt like a story of potential wasted and trust lost after the Yuga acquisition.

kavinraj · 1238· 1y ago · negative24“kevin rose the hype that crashed”Kevin Rose made too many bad decisions he hyped moonbirds with big promises then blamed the market when things went wrong the cc0 move started the downfall but canceling proof of conference was the final blow a lot of people believed in him and got burned he talks like a visionary but acts like someone who just walks away when it gets hard not trustworthy at all.

Donya · 1241· 1y ago · negative19“Extractor of sorts”Raised a huge amount of money with Moonbirds, didn't deliver on the vision and then sold the project. I'm having a hard time differentiating whether he was malicious or entirely lacking skills and understanding of the crypto space. Regardless I would not touch anything he is involved with in the future.

stellarobject · 2064· 1y ago · negative19“Fumbled Leadership”His handling of the Moonbirds project left many disappointed, from overpromising to underdelivering and making abrupt shifts in direction, his decisions alienated early supporters. What started as one of the most hyped NFT projects quickly turned into a cautionary tale of how not to manage a community.

rere · 1071· 1y ago · negative19“Veni, vidi, extracti...”Jumped on the web3 bandwagon with an already questionable web2 career. He launched what was at the time the biggest NFT pfp collection which later fell apart followed by incompetent leadership, directionless decision making and inability to take constructive criticism. I can't shake the impression that he just came to this space to extract as much liquidity possible and then dissapear as he eventually did.

rere · 1071· 1y ago · neutral23“Sold Dreams, Delivered Nothing”Big promises, loud hype, then silence when things got hard. CC0 wasn't innovation, it was panic. Moonbirds holders got burned while the founder moved on. Classic pump-and-bail pattern.

Raver · 1307· 1y ago · negative18“A Web3 ‘Has been’”Not a lot more to say, KR gave up on his community when things got tough - and made his money off the hopeful, leaving only socks and stickers behind. His team was no better. A lesson in how to sink a strong ship when you have momentum. Good riddance.

FANNY PACKS ANYONE? he's not in this for the right reasons, just wants to acquire more mansions
