“Oh what could have been....Brought attention to the space, then rugged his community”I was initially excited about KRO coming to crypto, at the time, it was a "big name" giving crypto some legitimacy. The pre-launch hype and marketing around Proof and Moonbirds was a masterclass in marketing and hype. 1776 investing game them add'l credibility. KRO was on the podcast circuit and dropping solid alpha. Unfortunately, he was once again focused on getting his bag, rather than sticking with the project and the execution on Proof and Moonbirds was awful. He and Ryan Carson both money grabbed what could have been the next BAYC, Artblocks, or Pudgy Penguins, but they couldn't level up creativity, community and execution in a meaningful way. His ethos score is a prime example of how the crypto community feels about him. And I tend to agree, much of the criticism is warranted, but I'm also objective enough to see the project energy, awareness and capital he brought to web 3.
