From 41 activities · Apr 2026CEO of Helius and a core Solana builder known for shipping foundational infrastructure—RPC, indexing, and developer tooling that simplifies on-chain development. Recognized for deep technical expertise in Solana's ecosystem, direct and often humorous takes on X, and consistent advocacy for the chain; also credited with mobilizing validators during critical governance moments. While primarily focused on building practical products rather than hype, some note inconsistent communication and find his Solana maximalism and privacy coin advocacy polarizing.

Received · 328Given · 0“A True Builder’s Builder”From my point of view, Mert is one of those rare people in Web3 who not only talks about innovation but actually builds it. What I really admire is how he and the Helius.dev team focus on creating tools that make life easier for developers and communities in the Solana ecosystem. Personally, I see Mert as someone who brings both vision and execution, and that combination is powerful. Every time I come across his work, it feels like he’s pushing the space forward in a meaningful way.

Grimm · 1058· 1y ago10“Fearless Builder & Solana Advocate”Mert is one of the most well known voices in solana, he has earned praise extensively from solana founders and ecosystem people such as Toly and many others - he does a great job of simplifying complexity and powering critical infrastructure with his work at Helius. Helius is the best RPC on the solana blockchain and is known for extreme reliability and throughput. Mert is not afraid to engage with people and argue with them on the timeline, many coming to know him through his debates with another CT favorite Evanss over the SOLETH pump of 2023/2024. Great thinker, great builder

Easily the ultimate SOL bull poster, even seen him BD for Solana in real time via twitter convos. Would love to have someone like Mert in my corner, whatever I'm building.
