CEO of Helius and a core Solana builder known for shipping foundational infrastructure—RPC, indexing, and developer tooling that simplifies on-chain development. Recognized for deep technical expertise in Solana's ecosystem, direct and often humorous takes on X, and consistent advocacy for the chain; also credited with mobilizing validators during critical governance moments. While primarily focused on building practical products rather than hype, some note inconsistent communication and find his Solana maximalism and privacy coin advocacy polarizing.

“"crypto helius"”Сео хелиуса, эт жёстко реально, прикольно я б тоже хотел. Пишет про Солану, про то, как всё масштабируется, иногда делится мыслями про рынок и саму индустрию. У него посты больше про долгую перспективу и уважение к тем, кто реально билдит, а не гонится за хайпом.

“Solana Guide”Mert’s account is a goldmine if you're into Solana and serious dev infrastructure. As CEO of Helius, he shares sharp takes on RPCs, APIs, and trading infra that actually move the space forward. No hype, just clean insights and real updates. I’ve learned a ton about how Solana works under the hood thanks to his threads.

“King of Web-3”I have been follow mert for a long time now. I can safely say that he is one of the best web3 podcasters at present. I love his podcasts and get to learn new things every time from his videos. Apart from podcasts, his CT posts are also great, he keeps sharing insights and interesting information about different projects. Apart from all this, I applaud him for working as a dev too. Great and sharp mind. Love his content.

“Mert, Gururumuz.”Açıkçası kendisini yakın zamanda gördüm tanıdım. Bir türk olarak aramızdan çıkıp, kriptoda kendisini bu kadar kanıtlamış, kabul ettirmiş ve yükselmiş birisini görmek beni aşırı derecede mutlu etti. Kendisine olan saygım çok büyük. Başarılarının devamını canı gönülden dilerim.

“SMART IMPACT”Review: Mert Mumtaz, CEO of Helius.dev - Background and Credibility: Mert Mumtaz, co-founder and CEO of Helius.dev, is a Turkish-Canadian engineer who transitioned from traditional finance and Coinbase to building Solana’s leading RPC and API platform. Starting Helius during the 2022 FTX crash, he turned a $8 Solana into a developer-friendly powerhouse, praised by Solana’s Anatoly Yakovenko and used by protocols like Jupiter and Phantom. His technical expertise in distributed systems and track record of scaling infrastructure under pressure cement his credibility. - Core Ethos Mert is a contrarian builder who values utility over hype. His X posts (@0xMert_) blend sharp humor, raw honesty, and data-driven takes, celebrating Solana’s 276B+ transactions and debunking “it can’t scale” FUD with TPS benchmarks. He’s transparent about his “broke founder” days, flipping NFTs for rent, and champions crypto as a tool for economic mobility, reflecting his own rise from student debt to ecosystem leader. Mert’s accessible, no-BS style fosters trust, mentoring devs and pushing Solana’s SVM rollups. - Strengths: - Resilience: Built Helius through market crashes, focusing on user-centric tools. - Authenticity: Unfiltered, witty takes cut through crypto noise, building a loyal following. - Impact: Streamlined Solana’s dev experience, rivaling Ethereum’s ConsenSys in influence.

“Fastest API & RPC solutions on Solana”Mert is known technical magician, who provides the fastest RPC/API solutions on Solana through helius labs. All my technical dogs rate Mert highly, so I have no reason not to believe them. Any builder on Solana knows the dude.

“Creative guy”Was on the team of the legendary Coinbase, which once made a lot of money with its ICOs. I am not familiar with his current project, but he has done a lot in Coinbase. Also saw his new podcast project and really want to see what guests will be there, so it's interesting to watch. He also has some very funny posts on X.
