Monad is a high-performance EVM-compatible Layer 1 with impressive technical architecture—parallel execution, 10,000 TPS target, and low latency—that has attracted a passionate community and strong funding. However, the project is deeply polarized: supporters praise the tech, speed, and community bonds formed during testnet, while a substantial portion of the community feels betrayed by the airdrop distribution, which heavily favored influencers and external crypto participants over testnet users who spent months testing and providing feedback. The core tension centers on broken trust—many early supporters view the tokenomics as extractive and the community rewards as unfair, with testnet participants receiving minimal allocation despite their contributions, while others remain bullish on the technical foundation and long-term potential.

“Monad is truly setting new standards for speed and scalability”Ever since I tried out Monad’s testnet I’ve been genuinely impressed. The transaction speed is incredible fees are super low and the overall user experience feels seamless. It really gives me the same vibe Ethereum had in its early days but with far more advanced technology. If you’re looking for a serious future ready Layer 1 Monad is definitely worth checking out.

“interesting testnet”I participated in testing Monad and I was genuinely impressed by how fast swaps are executed across different platforms — the transaction speed is consistently solid. NFT purchases and sales on the secondary market are also processed quickly, which makes trading really convenient. I tried a couple of games built on Monad, and overall, everything feels innovative and engaging. However, the transition to mainnet seems to be taking longer than expected. It would be great to see the team speed up this process, as the technology already shows a lot of promise.

“Bad timings but good idea”Monad discord server was opened awhile ago. I remember year ago everyone was posting monad arts and monad hangouts in different countries and it actually was nice to see but now after a year i don't see such a posts anymore hype on monad obviously going down. People was gridning for roles in discord for awhile and imo community for now is kinda even boring Anyways let's see how it will do. Very interesting to see a mainnet and token price cuz tech is actually good

“Scaling Smart, Shipping Fast”I’ve chatted with the folks behind Monad a few times on Telegram sharp minds, seriously. Their feed is all about high-performance blockchain scaling, dev centric updates, and insights into how they’re pushing Ethereum compatibility to new levels. If you're into L2s, infra innovation, or just want to follow a team that's actually shipping, this account is a gem. Definitely worth keeping on your radar

“Best testnet @monad_xyz”I recently took part in the @monad_xyz testnet, and I must say it was a fantastic experience! The process was smooth and well-organized, with clear instructions provided at every step, making it easy for participants to navigate. The Monad team's dedication to building a high-performance, scalable blockchain was evident in the testnet's design and functionality. The user interface was intuitive, and the transactions I performed were lightning-fast, showcasing the project's potential for real-world applications. I also appreciated the active support from the Monad community and team on Discord and other platforms, as they promptly addressed questions and provided helpful feedback. One minor area for improvement could be more detailed documentation for non-technical users to better understand the testnet's features. However, overall, the experience was highly engaging and gave me confidence in Monad's vision for a decentralized future.Big thanks to the @monad_xyz team for the opportunity to contribute to this exciting project! I'm looking forward to seeing how Monad evolves and participating in future testnets or mainnet launches.

“天王(亡)級 Layer 1”號稱擁有超高性能的一條公鏈在用戶端其實體感沒有那麼直接，但對於未來的應用還是期待的測試網的數量有種莫名的陰謀論感以某種角度來說，超過3億地址數非常奇葩，以工作室角度去看，陽光普照的空投幾乎是不太可能的，即便如此卻還是不斷增加地址數？這很難不讓人懷疑是否是人為操作使測試網數據更好看？不管如何，我先保持中立，同時我也期待主網的到來

“L1 Competitor”joined since testnet. as I use different apps, the chain is 100% evm compatible and most transactions take less than a second. deffo overhyped but the chain is promising.

“DISHONEST FLOP”when monad went fully public couple months ago, a lot of people were eager to engage the network as they promised 10k tps but they never delivered on that promise and ended up failing their community with governance power distribution upon TGE. all i can say is that it will go to zero sooner than later

“Compatible For All”Monad isn’t just another blockchain to me it’s home. Through Monad I’ve been able to connect, find my niche, and gain the confidence to truly be myself. This community gave me the platform to pitch my ideas when I thought I had “no talent.” From starting YourViewOnMonad, a weekly talk show, to co-founding NAD Mental Health, Monad has been the springboard for my growth. But beyond achievements, what matters most is the people. Monad gives me my own community: my people. A community that shows up for me, supports me, and reminds me that I’m never just another voice on the internet. All I need to do is ask, and Monad is there. With Monad, I found belonging, support, and a place where I can stand tall. Monad isn’t just compatible with blockchains it’s compatible with everyone

“Monad changed my life”Lately there’s been a lot of talk about mainnet and the drop, but honestly I just want to say that Monad has already given me an incredible drop. I’m truly happy because I’ve discovered completely new sides of myself, met so many amazing people, joined great projects, and learned so much along the way. Thanks to Monad, I’ve stepped out of my comfort zone in ways I never imagined. I still remember my first steps back in late February—early March. At that time, the idea of “creating content” or even just making a simple tweet felt like something huge. My Twitter was tiny — maybe 15–20 followers — and I mostly used it just for engaging. Now I’m close to 1,000 followers, and it wasn’t even my goal to grow as much as possible; it just happened naturally. Another thing I never thought I’d do is speak in voice chats. I still get shy, but little by little I’m trying. Sometimes I just feel like I have to say something, and I can’t hold back — so I turn on the mic. All of this has been an incredible journey, and I’m so grateful.

“Monad – Fast, Scalable & Full of Community Vibes”Monad is honestly one of the most exciting L1s I’ve seen lately. It’s crazy fast, fully EVM-compatible, and built to handle huge scale without losing decentralization. But what really makes it stand out is the community — from weekly games and tasks to dedicated groups for artists, people are active, helpful, and genuinely engaged. Whether you’re here for the tech or just want to be part of a fun, thriving community, Monad delivers on both fronts. Definitely an L1 worth following and being part of.
