Monad is a high-performance EVM-compatible Layer 1 with impressive technical architecture—parallel execution, 10,000 TPS target, and low latency—that has attracted a passionate community and strong funding. However, the project is deeply polarized: supporters praise the tech, speed, and community bonds formed during testnet, while a substantial portion of the community feels betrayed by the airdrop distribution, which heavily favored influencers and external crypto participants over testnet users who spent months testing and providing feedback. The core tension centers on broken trust—many early supporters view the tokenomics as extractive and the community rewards as unfair, with testnet participants receiving minimal allocation despite their contributions, while others remain bullish on the technical foundation and long-term potential.

“Wasted Potential”Even tho I wasnt participating in Monad in any way before, I was excited for a launch and new opportunities it could bring (mostly because of crazy funding they got), but when I actualy opened portal and tried to look for something innovative or fun, I just couldnt find it.

“promising”I've been farming this protocol for a while, the farming process is not tiring and repetitive

“MONAD IS GOING TO REVOLUTIONALIZE CRYPTO AND BLOCKCHAIN TECHNOLOGY FOREVER.”Decentralized and high perfomance monad is the end game of the blockchain trillema and in jhunsakers words a monad is a function of a monoid

“"The most hyped project"”This project has been in development for quite some time. I learned about it relatively recently. Unfortunately, I am not involved in it. The first participants in the project have already received their rewards, which are quite substantial. Users are also actively promoting it on Twitter. I often see posts about monads. The monad community is very creative, creating beautiful works of art, sometimes even costumes for cosplay. It seems that they live and breathe this project. It seems that absolutely everyone knows about this project and is waiting for its launch. If you have become a pioneer of this project, then I am happy for you. Most likely, you are a potential recipient of a good reward from Monada.

“Monad — Parallel EVM Layer 1 for High Performance Decentralized Applications”Monad is a next-generation Layer 1 blockchain that delivers extreme performance through parallelized transaction execution and a low-latency consensus mechanism. Fully compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM), it enables developers to deploy existing smart contracts seamlessly while unlocking multi-thousand TPS throughput. By combining parallel computing, deterministic state updates, and optimized consensus, Monad achieves scalability without sacrificing decentralization or security. It’s designed as a foundation for the next era of Web3 applications that demand both speed and composability.

“High transaction speed is an advantage!”Monad also has a strong positive community, which means that unfounded FUD is unlikely. The project is already approaching TGE — stay active. Unfortunately, there are many participants, but don't forget that they will be cleaned up. I think Monad has every chance of getting enough attention for its infrastructure. Important criteria for the airdrop (in my opinion): daily transactions, One Million Nads NFT (there are about 700,000 on Magic Eden), ETH balance of 0.01-0.03 on the ERC-20 network. Don't make 50-100 transactions every day — it looks like bot behavior. If you have the opportunity to buy a Chogstar-type NFT, do so, as owners of strong NFTs will get a significant share of the pie. As was the case with Berachain, for example. And be happy, nads!

“Monad Yeni Solana olur mu?”Monad, testnet sürecinin başından beri harika ilerleyen bir proje. Kriptoda hem proje hem kullanıcı tarafından en hızlı benimsenen ve kabul edilen proje. Solana, bu aşamada bu kadar umut vaadetmiyordu. Bu bağlamda Monad, kesinlikle Solana'dan çok daha iyi seviyede. Doğru arz yönetimi ve stabil bir zincir ile eminim çok daha iyi yerlere gelecektir.

“All In One”Monad isn't a better chain at something, it is a better chain at/for everything.

“not just speed and scalability, it was also the home to build your brand with strong community support”It’s not just about the narrative of scalability and speed; this has also been a home of growth and opportunities for many users. People with a set of skills received massive support from the community the moment they showcased their talents. I can't imagine how strong the community has become, built solidly from the ground up over the past three years. I can only see shallow reasoning behind these negative reviews, and it all boils down to one thing: the Monad drop. If you've been part of Monad, you'd clearly understand that the team strongly dislikes farmers. That’s why I can confidently say there’s very little chance that testnet users simply doing volume will be incentivized on mainnet.

“Time kills them”They had a lot of encouragement and a great community the first few months, but so much time has passed and they have been delayed for so long, that no one remembers them anymore.

“The next Cardano of crypto, for all the wrong reasons”The signs were there ever since the emergence of Monads telegram and discord 2 years ago, unnecessary gatekeeping to access the forums, encouraging boasting of theoretical tech and undermining other L1 & L2, monad turned out to be the next Cardano!
