From 5 activities · Apr 2026Monero is recognized as a privacy-focused cryptocurrency that made privacy mandatory by default rather than optional, ensuring every transaction is private and the anonymity set includes all users. The project has maintained its original mission of privacy and financial freedom without a founders' reward, trusted setup, or steering company, instead relying on a decentralized community to ship upgrades. It stands apart from other privacy coins like Zcash by prioritizing privacy as a core protocol feature from inception rather than an add-on.

“Monero”Monera is a privacy coin. Currently delisted from most exchanges due to its privacy nature. Privacy coins are down hard at the moment but in the near future they will thrive back once again in my opinion

Thenotorious1🧊 · 1213· 1y ago9“...and Monero makes sure it stays that way.”I like it. When no one should know you bought 17 kilos of strawberries for jelly at 3 am. And Monero makes sure it stays that way. Good features

While I no longer hold it in my portfolio, I still feel nostalgic about the coin. My opinion is positive, though it's based more on emotion than analysis. Just a bit of sentimental value :)

Yuri RWA · 1241· 1y ago9“Real cypherpunk energy”Monero will always have a special place in the crypto space for one simple reason: true privacy. In a world of increasing surveillance and KYC overreach, Monero isn’t just useful — it’s necessary. Whether or not it’s “popular” or hyped, XMR stays true to the core values of crypto: freedom, sovereignty, and decentralization.

Ruthless.ip · 1202· 1y ago9“The Untraceable Champion of Crypto Security”Monero is renowned as one of the most secure and private cryptocurrencies available today unlike other digital assets where privacy is optional, Monero makes privacy its default every transaction uses powerful cryptographic tools like ring signatures stealth addresses and RingCT to keep senders receivers and transaction amounts completely hidden, this means Monero transactions cannot be traced making it the top choice for users who prioritize confidentiality, Monero’s commitment to security is matched by its dedication to decentralization the RandomX mining algorithm is designed to keep mining open to anyone with a regular computer this privacy first technology makes Monero invaluable for very large number of users, Monero’s robust untraceable system has earned it a reputation as the true champion of crypto security.

AQIL · 1322· 1y ago9“The Crypto of Total Privacy”Monero is one of the most respected cryptocurrencies in the blockchain world for a very specific reason: privacy. Unlike Bitcoin or Ethereum, Monero is designed to ensure anonymous, untraceable, and fungible transactions. Integrated and advanced privacy Monero uses technologies such as ring signatures, stealth addresses, and RingCT (Confidential Transactions), making it impossible to publicly link the sender, recipient, and amount of a transaction. True fungibility Each XMR token is identical to another, meaning it cannot be "tarnished" by previous use (unlike Bitcoin, which can be blocked on some exchanges if it has a suspicious past). Strong and active community Monero is an open-source project, without a central corporation or initial ICO. The community is among the most technically skilled and attentive to the ethics of decentralization. Constant technological development The protocol is constantly evolving, with regular updates to improve efficiency, scalability, and privacy (e.g., the adoption of Bulletproofs and Seraphis). Monero remains the gold standard for those seeking a truly private cryptocurrency. It's not the easiest to use, nor the fastest, but it is the most privacy-friendly—an increasingly rare value in today's digital world. Ideal for those who value anonymity, financial freedom, and uncompromising decentralization. "Monero doesn't ask you who you are. It protects you, period."

caligraphy (❖) · 1282· 1y ago9“Private, Secure, and Truly Decentralized”Monero (XMR) stands out as one of the few cryptocurrencies that truly prioritize privacy and fungibility. Unlike most coins, Monero uses advanced cryptographic techniques like ring signatures and stealth addresses to ensure transactions remain confidential and untraceable. This makes it ideal for users who value financial privacy in an increasingly transparent world. Its active development community and strong commitment to decentralization also add to its credibility. While it may not be as widely accepted as Bitcoin, its use case is clear and necessary in today’s digital economy. I believe Monero plays a vital role in protecting individual freedoms and financial sovereignty. A powerful tool for those who understand the importance of privacy.
