Amiralek · 1359· 1y ago · negative13“Ghost Chain”movementslabsxyz Through their poorly run testnet campaign, developers of the Movebased M2 Ethereum L2 have greatly harmed community trust.Part of the Parthenon testnet, the "MoveDrop" program encouraged over 15.8 million active addresses to finish 681 million transactions over 63 dApps, promising $MOVE token rewards with a 1.25x bonus for mainnet claims.Although they raised $41.4 million from Polychain and Binance Labs, they quickly cancelled the bonus and cut rewards postmainnet, therefore leaving testnet users with little to no payouts.Lack of examined claim contracts and opaque reward criteria limited to 300 transactions without explicit allocation logic fanned charges of bait-and-switch strategy.Movementlabsxyz's failure to live up to testnet promises makes it a dangerous follow for developers and DeFi consumers depending on clear incentives until responsibility and equitable reward distribution are reestablished.

Mainnet keeps getting delayed, the bridge traps assets, and the team dodges every real question. For all the noise, there’s still no real chain, just hype.

“Mixed Feelings”Movement is under alot of fire as of late for allegations of being in cahoots with web3 port & that scandal / founders doing OTC deals, Aptos Fork & bad tech, 0.015ETH/0.0075ETH claim fee for the airdrop, farming their own chain etc But i'm inclined to leave a neutral review because while I can't comment on team actions, I can vouch for the network of builders there: I'm part of many different ecosystem chat & there is no doubt Movement has a very active builder chat which is more than other ecosystems can say. Thus, like any nascent ecosystem, let's see what the future holds.

JPEG Yakuza · 2004· 1y ago · neutral31“2024 biggest scam”the project that was considered one of the top airdrops of 2024 turned out to be the biggest scam of the same year. hard to believe how a project with zero infrastructure, just a website full of tasks, managed to raise that much money. but even that wasn’t enough for the scammers on the team - they made a deal with mm and take the drop away from as many people as possible just to make more profit. six months later, in summer 2025, they still haven’t given the drop to honest users, using lame excuses about farms,even though all the real farmers got their rewards back in december. at the same time, they have the audacity to launch a second parthenon on mainnet and push people to complete it with their own money. everything about this project is disgusting. in my opinion, every dev and mod behind it deserves the lowest possible ethos score.
