“Libertarian / Crypto anarchist”A legendary figure, spanning from IT startups to politics to crypto. No longer with us today, but his memory will live on forever. Some may simply know him from McAfee antivirus, while for others he is a crypto-anarchist advocating for human freedom. His turbulent life left a permanent mark on history. From prisons and persecution to creating his own DEX, supporting Bitcoin and Monero, and making bold public statements. John saw cryptocurrencies (especially Bitcoin and Monero) as a tool for liberation from government control over money, actively opposing financial surveillance, the banking system, and regulations. A supporter of cypherpunk and crypto-anarchy, using cryptography and decentralized technologies to build a society beyond state control. Crypto, he said, is the "golden key to freedom from financial slavery". His final years were spent in a Spanish prison, where he was found dead. That is truly a long story. John McAfee's story ended in 2021.

“Account management is carried out by third parties”Important note. The original account owner, namely John McAfee, stopped managing his account in 2021 due to his death. Some time later, his [wife](https://app.ethos.network/profile/x/theemrsmcafee) took over. Today, retweets and minor activity are carried out by volunteers. Posts and retweets may be marketing-related, concerning meme coins, AI agents, and other similar things. I strongly recommend exercising caution. Rerweets from the fan account [@JohnAInti](https://app.ethos.network/profile/x/JohnAInti) occur frequently. This account positions itself as an AI agent, and its content includes presale announcements. So, once again: Be careful and do your own research. Even though McAfee's persona has a trustworthy reputation, this could potentially be used for malicious purposes.

“legendary personality”John was such a legend. I often think of the "U.S. Foreign Policy for Dummies" video (as well as the various videos from the mixology series 😹) https://x.com/officialmcafee/status/1147491115949580291 https://x.com/officialmcafee/status/1050350811694460933 Pretty crazy that he was surviving on so much alcohol and unfiltered (!) cigarettes at 74 (!). He actually did have a supplement regime to combat the negative effects of his lifestyle, and in a different timeline he would most likely be seen as one of the pre-peptide OG healthhackers. https://x.com/officialmcafee/status/1265325435606519809 I miss his craziness and NFG attitude so much.
