Received · 63Given · 100“Rigorous Contributor & Defender of those Being Slashed w/o Evidence”I don't personally know Kaiser, but I am specifically writing this review to commend them for their great perspective on slashes. And their courage to push back against the mob. In my opinion, a hurdle Ethos needs to overcome are lazy, insufficient slashes. Even when the slasher is correct, we need to ensure that evidence and proof is brought in the slash as well. Innocent until proven guilty. Otherwise, it becomes a very slippery slope where the accused is deemed guilty nearly automatically, just because. Kaiser brings rigour and consistency, even when unpopular. In two recent slashes they have specifically pushed back on the slasher for lack of evidence. I believe this is something that, if not fixed, is a huge risk to Ethos. And the true way it gets fixed is the community enforcing quality upon itself and its members. Kaiser is doing exactly this. Ethos is lucky to have contributors like them.

It's great to see everyone share their opinion on a slash (as it should be), but what is not right is telling outright falsehoods regarding members of the community. Gorilla first claimed that a member of the Ethos community was pressured to change his vote, implying he was pressured by the Ethos founder Serpin to change his vote. However, the community member in question showed the onchain record that he never changed his vote, but rather simply took his time to make his voting decision. Thank god for the blockchain! Gorilla made claims that other Ethos community members were also pressured to change their votes ("from what I've been told", "it doesn't change the fact that some people received DMs"), yet was unwilling to back up those accusations with proof (as of the time of this review). If you are willing to lie to get a bit more engagement on a tweet, what else are you willing to lie about? Not reputable behavior. Note: if Gorilla shows that Serpin pressured people to change their vote, I will send him 20k XP and write a negative review of Serpin. That's skin in the game.

But let's be honest, getting lots of Yaps only signifies that you are good at the Kaito algorithm - nothing more Let's hope we can build Ethos into a platform that truly leads to actors in this space acting with more integrity and credibility and not be about some other games of running up the scoreboard. If it can do this, Ethos is a success. But for now, celebrate Mr. Oleribe for his clear abilities when it comes to earning yaps!

Not great management. At worst, Movement worked in coordination with shady market makers to manufacture bullish charts and rug the community. on Movement · 720· 1y ago · negative27“Accusations of Liability in Ponzi”Hydraze is currently the target of a lawsuit. In a court of law, innocent until proven guilty is the law of the land. However, public perception of one's credibility does not wait for litigation to play out. It is instantaneous and sometimes not fair. I don't personally know Hydraze, but I hope he can be exonerated of these accusations when he has his day in court. However, for the time being his ethos score should reflect the current state of affairs. It's hard to argue one's score shouldnt be lowered when they are subject of a lawsuit with the numbers involved in the accusations. Hopefully this review can one day be archived.

But Nakamigos always caught my attention, for two main reasons: - I like the art - I'm a big Migos fan (IYKYK) So when I decided to buy at the floors, I wasn't expecting much. But a big unexpected benefit has been the community. Everyone is very supportive, even for content I create that has nothing to do with Nakamigos (which is basically every piece I've ever written since I don't talk about NFTs in my articles). I don't care about the price or pretend to know which direction it will go. But I'm glad to be a part of a supportive community. Cheers to the meegs!

But if you're a soccer (yeah, I said it, soccer) fan, this is exactly what you've been hoping for. The gameplay is fun, the UI is great, the scoring system is exquisite. And with punitive features designed to mitigate the impact of degen farmers, we should expect this app to really take off for the non-crypto community. And isn't that the point? So many apps designed for degens, at this point capital is just circulating around. We need NEW capital onchain. And this will do it. The "crypto" is nearly totally obfuscated. The app is all about the game, not the crypto. Speculation isn't always fun (see Zora). This is fun. And the team is grinding. Count me as a bull. And even if I lose money, I don't care. Why? BECAUSE THE GAME IS FUUUUUUUUN

They had me thinking about the mechanisms and they were really drilling into the specifics of how they work, not taking anything for granted. That is what a good researcher does. They drill into first principles and ask questions to get a true understanding of how something works, no assumptions made. Going the notis on for them now, because if they display this level of curiosity into Ethos, I bet they are putting out great, well diligenced content on other projects.
