“If you’re in NFTs, you know Pudgy Penguins”I have been around crypto long enough to see plenty of hype come and go, and Pudgy Penguins still feel like the one everyone recognizes. The turnaround after Luca Netz took over in April 2022 was the moment everything clicked for me. I keep spotting Pudgys everywhere, not just on CT but out in the world through toys, GIFs, and constant cultural touchpoints. What I value most is the people I have met through this community. The connections have been unreal, generous, and surprisingly enduring. I even keep a couple of Pudgy figures on my desk as a small reminder of why this brand works. It is fun, it is resilient, and it keeps showing how an NFT native idea can grow into something bigger. For me this is the best NFT project to date.

L’évolution du projet dépasse largement ce que l’on peut voir ailleurs dans l’espace crypto. La communauté est massive, soudée et particulièrement engagée. Il y a un véritable sentiment d’appartenance, avec des membres actifs, passionnés et toujours prêts à soutenir le projet et ses initiatives. Cette force collective est l’un des piliers de l’écosystème. L’équipe, quant à elle, est extrêmement ambitieuse et visionnaire. Elle réussit à imposer son IP à l’échelle internationale, notamment aux États-Unis et en Asie, ce qui est une performance remarquable. Chaque décision semble pensée pour inscrire le projet dans la durée et lui donner une portée globale. Pudgy a, selon moi, toutes les cartes en main pour devenir le numéro 1 des memecoins très prochainement, avec un potentiel de surperformance face à DOGE. Le positionnement est clair, la marque est forte et la stratégie est cohérente. Le développement de la marque s’intensifie semaine après semaine, avec des partenariats majeurs et stratégiques tels que la NFL, une équipe de foot, ou des marques bien implantés dans le monde reel comme les bisnounours . The User Generated Content and viral power on social media are the biggest engines of the brand's organic growth. The project's greatest achievement is enabling even those who do not hold an NFT to interact with the brand using Pudgy GIFs. This breaks the "closed loop community" structure, which is Web3's biggest problem, and proves they have created a truly global and likeable brand identity. Even though I don’t own a Pudgy yet, it is my favorite collection and one I aspire to join, as it represents the healthiest face of Web3 culture in terms of both digital identity and social status.
