From 366 activities · Apr 2026Pudgy Penguins is a pioneering NFT collection that evolved into a global consumer brand, bridging Web3 and mainstream markets through physical toys in Walmart, strategic retail partnerships, and cultural collaborations. Known for strong branding, consistent execution, and a deeply loyal community, the project survived early leadership challenges and was revitalized under Luca Netz, who expanded it beyond digital art into merchandise, games, the $PENGU token, and the Abstract L2 blockchain. Praised for generous airdrops, authentic community-first values, and rare durability across market cycles, it stands as one of the most successful and recognizable IP projects in crypto.

If you’re looking for real Web3 culture, creativity, and good vibes, you should definitely check out these penguins.

“chill content that sticks with you”I wasn’t expecting to stop here but PudgyPenguins kept me reading because the tone feels simple and real, not flashy or overdone you scroll, see something little and clever, and before you know it you’ve read more than you planned, which doesn’t happen often

More than just a collection, it’s a community-driven ecosystem built around positivity, creativity, and approachable storytelling. Their presence across social platforms — supported by an active and engaged community — shows how thoughtfully they’ve shaped their identity. Whether you're following for the culture, the brand-building, or the broader direction of Web3 communities, Pudgy Penguins stands out as a project that consistently delivers charm, clarity, and real connection.

It actually feels alive. From day one, the community’s been strong, but what impressed me most is how they’ve kept building while others just faded. They’re not just sitting on a collection — they’re creating real-world toys, and they’re actually in major stores now. That’s a big deal. It’s one of the first times I’ve seen a Web3 project make something physical that people outside of crypto can enjoy. Plus, their Instagram videos are fire. They’re short, funny, and super relatable — even for people who don’t care about NFTs. That’s how you reach the masses.

Crazy hype, a graph that's going crazy, Pengu opening the New York Stock Exchange and Lucas Netz going all over the place for massive adoption, not to mention the games and other web2 merch and upcoming partnerships! Only good stuff and we love it! Pengu forever!
