From 713 activities · Mar 2026Serpin is the founder and CEO of Ethos Network, a platform building on-chain reputation and trust systems for Web3. A 12-year product leader with experience at Atlassian, HouseCallPro, and as an early hire at Message.io (YC W16), he brings deep expertise in product, security, identity verification, and fraud prevention. Known for hands-on community engagement, transparent leadership, and relentless focus on detecting Sybil actors and bad actors through slashing and verification mechanisms, Serpin is widely recognized as a builder committed to doing things the right way rather than chasing hype—consistently shipping features, hosting vibe coding sessions and spaces, and staying actively involved in Discord and community feedback loops.

The market and other founders/builders should learn a thing or 2 from him!

Akim · 1236· 10mo ago38“A founder who love FUD”Despite the bugs and errors, Serpin stayed cool. Didn’t rage, he embraced the FUD to make things better.

He always has the best intentions when building a product and makes sure everyone benefits from it. Joined Ethos last year and must say it's great working with Serp and the rest of the team, i actually enjoy my work now. Very excited to see where things will go in the future.

node · 1914· 44d ago8“Courageous boss”Serpin taxt is a mean CEO and builder, he never fears to state the obvious and I think this boldness is what birthed ethos. I use to be annoyed by some of his actions and the way he carry it out like this credibility score slashing it does not make sense but as I found out the reason behind this I became calm
