From 713 activities · Mar 2026Serpin is the founder and CEO of Ethos Network, a platform building on-chain reputation and trust systems for Web3. A 12-year product leader with experience at Atlassian, HouseCallPro, and as an early hire at Message.io (YC W16), he brings deep expertise in product, security, identity verification, and fraud prevention. Known for hands-on community engagement, transparent leadership, and relentless focus on detecting Sybil actors and bad actors through slashing and verification mechanisms, Serpin is widely recognized as a builder committed to doing things the right way rather than chasing hype—consistently shipping features, hosting vibe coding sessions and spaces, and staying actively involved in Discord and community feedback loops.

Leo Shaw 🕊️ · 1230· 1y ago24“Visionary Founder Behind Ethos!”I’ve really enjoyed listening to Serpin in a few AMAs and I’m thankful to him for building such an exciting, engaging, fun, and helpful product. Ethos has grown tremendously since I first learned about it in March 2024. At that time, Serpin mentioned it was still in its early stages and now I see him doing AMAs with strong communities, always working to bring improvements. It’s like the LinkedIn of Web3 and he’s truly a great founder.

Mookie · 1583· 1y ago24“High integrity founder”Highest integrity founder I have met in the space. Had the chance to go on calls with him multiple times and often looked at him for advice. Brilliant mind and pioneer of the only working reputation network ever built. I wish more people in our space were like Serpin.

He regularly shares product updates, visualizations, and small experiments that give followers a sense of progress being made in real time. Unlike many influencers who chase attention with speculation, Serpin’s style leans into transparency and community involvement. He often hosts livestream coding sessions, shares rough sketches of new features, and engages directly with early users testing Ethos.

I think he has earned his credibility with his experience and accurate predictions. Now it was Ethos' turn. Here, you can give credibility to accounts, and you can recognize reputable accounts. This was a wonderful creativity, and you can thank him for this creativity.

ZOHRE · 1072· 1y ago19“Builder of Trust, Architect of Ethos”For a founder leading one of the fastest-growing platforms in crypto right now, Serpin stands out for how directly he connects with his community. He takes the time to answer questions, handle tickets, and genuinely support those who contribute. That level of dedication and hands-on effort is rare, and it shows the kind of work ethic and commitment that sets him apart.

Despite all the challenges like review quality and potential abuse .he’s managed to create a transparent, on-chain reputation platform. I really think Ethos is going to be a key piece in the future of SocialFi. What I respect most is how Serpin actually listens to the community and takes feedback seriously. Glad to be here early, excited to see where this goes!
