Built on the Peaq Network, this real-world asset (RWA) leverages decentralized sensors to collect hyper-local noise pollution data, creating a comprehensive sound map of the world. Founded by brothers Thomas and Theo Messerer, Silencio was born from a deep-rooted passion for democratizing valuable data and improving lives. Their vision is to make sound measurement a powerful tool for urban planning, helping governments, corporations, and individuals make informed decisions about where to build schools, airports, high-rises, and even peaceful retreats. All recorded sound data is stored on-chain, ensuring transparency and accessibility. As major companies recognize the value of this data, the demand for Silencio’s token is expected to rise, making it a highly promising investment. Silencio is more than just a noise measurement tool it’s a Web3 citizen science movement, rewarding contributors with tokenized incentives while tackling the global issue of noise pollution. With over 35,000 smartphones already acting as noise sensors, the network is rapidly expanding, aiming to reach one million devices by 2024. For those seeking data-driven solutions for urban development, environmental sustainability, and personal tranquility, Silencio is paving the way for a smarter, quieter future.

WebsOwn · 1194· 1y ago13“Make noise to money”I really like the idea of silencio. Measurements of the surrounding noise level in the streets. Monetize the user's to measure more and finally provide a map of noise level measurements that can be used for different use-cases. As it can seemless included in the daily routines I really love the app and use it daily. And take care to keep the daily measurement streak!

Love what they’re building in the DePIN space and how they’re bringing real-world use cases on-chain. Solid vision, active community, and a team that actually delivers. Excited to see where this journey goes — big things ahead for sure!
