“The Meme That’s Killing Solana’s Future”Solana used to feel like the frontier for serious builders — fast, scalable, and full of potential to redefine how crypto actually works in the real world. But lately, it’s starting to feel like that energy is fading. Projects like Pump.fun have completely changed the vibe. Instead of innovation, the main attraction now is speculation — nonstop meme coins, degens chasing quick flips, and endless noise. What used to be a place for experimentation and real progress is turning into a meme casino. And while it’s fun for a while, this shift could slowly kill the innovation that once made Solana special. The network’s future shouldn’t just be about who can launch the next viral token — it should be about who’s building something that lasts.

“Top 1 in terms of memes and lightning-fast transactions”At this point I think everybody has heard about Solana at least once and I’m pretty sure something like 70 percent of the web3 community has been trading some tokens on Solana at least once in their web3 journey in hopes to get a life change. There were many bangers created on Solana, and as for the most popular I would say it was Trump, which actually made a ton of people millionaires in one day. But it is important to remember that for each person who scored a life change on memes there are a few thousand who lost everything, so trade carefully, keep your hopes conservative and Solana will absolutely help you gain a bit. Also I think it is important to move a bit aside from memes and talk about Solana itself, the main pros of this chain I would say are 1) Super low gas (except in times where some memes are being traded with crazy volumes which results in heavy chain overload) 2) Lightning fast transactions (once again when the chain is not overloaded because of some crazy meme). With all that being said I think it is fair to give Solana a solid 7.5/10, removed 2.5 points for the risk of losing everything and the moments when the chain just can’t handle the volumes.

“Go-to chain for memecoins.”Solana has cemented itself as the go-to chain for memecoins—fast, cheap, and actually usable at scale. The recent memecoin mania shows how much the space has evolved, with continuous liquidity and consistent volume. Sure, there are rugs and scams, but that’s partly of the game - been a victim of many myself, unfortunately. If you’re trading on-chain, Solana just makes sense.
