“Spark Could Be a Hidden Giant”Spark was born out of MakerDAO’s Endgame (now rebranded as Sky) as the first SubDAO in an ambitious plan to dismantle the old monolithic structure. Technically, it’s a fork of Aave, but that’s where the similarities stop. Instead of the usual supply-and-demand model that sends interest rates all over the place, Spark uses an “Automated SLL” system that actively shifts your liquidity to wherever it can earn the most in DeFi and RWA. The outcome? Step-like stable rates instead of Aave’s rollercoaster. You deposit DAI (or rather the new “New Stablecoin,” which is confusing enough) and the protocol does the heavy lifting for you. Simple, effective, and it explains why they’ve managed to attract so much liquidity. The catch is the SPARK token. It’s mainly for governance and incentives, with no revenue sharing. And in June 2026 the circulating supply doubles from 2 to 4.5 billion tokens. If demand stays flat, the price gets cut in half basic market math. My guess is the market will start pricing this in by March–May 2026, making that a critical window for anyone planning an exit. That said, I’m still very interested in following Spark. The mechanics work, the numbers prove it. But with the tokenomics setup and the Endgame structure that might divert profits toward other SubDAOs, it’s definitely not a blind long-term hold. It looks more like a short-to-medium-term opportunity for people who know when to get in and, more importantly, when to get out. For now, the numbers tell the story of a potentially underrated project. Spark has around 5.4 billion in TVL against just 100 million in market cap a ratio you don’t see every day. Worth keeping on the radar.Alessio | Wolf of Ballarò · 1389· 1y ago11
