“Account used / hijacked for scamming”Tactical Investing's account was used in a recent social engineering scam on @jakegallen_. The initial contact was made for podcast interview requests for Jake and his project. The YouTube account is five years old and has some reputation, so his X account might have been hijacked to achieve this. The scammers scheduled a Zoom call with Jake through Telegram, and they took advantage of the request remote access feature that is enabled on Zoom by default for guests on a call. Through that, they installed Malware on his device. ELUSIVE COMET is responsible for millions in crypto lost to this point. Stay away from Zoom interviews and screen share / remote requests!WiiMee · 1620· 1y ago · negative8
