Hotstuff, formerly Syndr Protocol, faces serious allegations of deception and financial misconduct. Critics report that the team banned inquiries about discrepancies in its point system and rewards structure, while users report being unable to withdraw funds from vaults despite significant deposits, with losses of approximately 30% within 24 hours and concerns the project may be abandoned or engineered to appear hacked.

“Hotstuff is trying to deceive you”When I saw the project, I was intrigued by its past as Syndr Protocol. My investigation led to some unpleasant facts, which I asked the Hotstuff team about. Instead of giving me an answer, they tried to justify themselves and banned me from Discord. Here's what I managed to find out: Point system and refusal of awards In Syndr LTIPP Application, I found a mention of points and rewards > Points system is similar to Hotstaff - Vaults - Trade - Referrals The Point campaign was closed without any announcements Project restart In November 2025, everything related to Syndr was deleted and Hotstuff is was launched > X account has been renamed > LinkedIn has been redesigned > Telegram group has been deleted > The team ignores questions about its previous project > Mentioning Syndr results in being banned from the community > All references to Syndr have been removed, as I already wrote

“potentially ready to rug or pack up”be careful with this perp dex, their x is basically a ghost town, their discord is 100x worse than their x, the team has gone AWOL, & users cant withdraw their money from their vault, the vault apr is also wrong, and you lose about 30% of your fund in like 24hrs after you put it in, the vault currently has a 100k but none of the depositors are able to withdraw. i expect them to either fake a hack soon, os simply delete x & discord, i believe we are in the "fake a hack" meta so i think the team will go with a "100k hack".
