Not just to do the work, but to make everything better and on time. He’s the kind of person who always knows what’s going on. If something’s off, he sees it before you do. And he’ll tell you, without ever making it heavy. Somehow, he still manages to lift the mood. That’s rare. One thing that really stuck with me: seeing him and Davide stay consistent with their podcast. Week after week, no matter what. There’s no reward system for that. No bonus points. But they kept showing up. And seeing that level of care, made a real difference for me. It helped me keep going just like they do with everything. You can't fake this reliability. You either have it or you don’t. Sam puts people first. If something doesn’t feel right, he’ll walk away. I’ve seen him do it. That’s one of the reasons we’ve stayed friends all this time. He’ll give you real feedback, not just approval. He’ll help you raise the bar, not just tick a box. And he’ll do it while making everyone around him feel lighter. There’s not much else to say. If you’ve worked with him, you already know. If you haven’t, I hope you get the chance. Let him cook.
