On paper, the idea is compelling — a chain that combines high throughput with strong decentralization. But the execution hasn’t caught up with the vision. The roadmap feels overhyped, updates are vague, and for most users, there’s little to actually try today. Many campaigns lean more on marketing than on real progress, which leaves the community questioning how much is substance versus pitch. It’s a project worth watching, but for now, the gap between promise and delivery is hard to ignore.

“Greedy and incompetent team”This project was accompanied by a huge hype, but unfortunately the project's founder looked at his community as a cash cow and tried his best to collect fees from the network users in various ways, whether through their ridiculous Telegram game. I think there is no trust in the honesty of their team and they do not value the community, and this is a red flag for me. Someone who does not respect the members of the community will most likely disappear in the future when critical times arise.

“Poor Layer 2”I had the opportunity to explore and test this Layer 2 network, and based on my experience, it comes across as a trend-driven project with limited long-term potential. Here’s why: The decentralized applications (dApps) available on Eclipse are quite disappointing. Many are either basic forks from other chains or newly created apps that feel incomplete and offer a poor user experience. It often seemed like they were built by inexperienced developers. Rather than concentrating on strengthening the ecosystem and delivering improvements, the team frequently gets involved in disputes with users or other projects, which reflects poorly on their priorities.

“The lights went out”Eclipse is a powerful technology project with high potential. It is betting on a future where Ethereum will scale not through new EVM solutions, but through a hybrid architecture. But after TGE, the opinion about the project changed. They shaved off half of the users, gave away mere pennies - I managed to at least break even considering the investments. There is no need to expect new strong ideas from the team, the community has partially left the project. It is sad to admit, but I wrote it down in the death note

“The eclipse darkened the sun”A new network of university students trying to fund itself through an airdrop that disappears after six months. It doesn't bring anything to the market, but I have to acknowledge one merit. Moving thousands of dollars makes you ineligible for their airdrop, but clicking 100,000 times on a cow eating grass does make you eligible.

“Another dead L2 after TGE”The idea behind eclipse is no doubt a brilliant one but it really lacked content... Nothing spectacular was built on the chain and it is basically another liquidity extraction from the ECO. Also encouraged new wave of dickriders i must say who has no genuine community and this will be visible to see in a couple of months from now
