From 283 activities · Apr 2026ENS (Ethereum Name Service) is a foundational decentralized naming system that transforms long wallet addresses into simple, human-readable .eth names, making crypto transactions safer, easier, and more accessible. Users consistently praise it for eliminating copy-paste errors, enabling seamless integration across wallets and dApps, and providing true ownership of digital identity independent of centralized platforms. While widely recognized as essential Web3 infrastructure with strong community support and a notable airdrop history, some concerns have been raised about pricing decisions and domain renewal fees.

It's such a simple, useful tool that makes Web3 feel safer and more human. I registered my name about 4 years ago, and seeing it integrated everywhere, from wallets to dApps, just proves how essential it has become. A truly foundational project.

Hejar · 1234· 1y ago18“Owning your Web3 Identity”Using ENS has been a game changer for me in Crypto. Instead of copying long, confusing wallet addresses, I can just use a simple name like mine, edhiey.eth. It makes everything from sending crypto to managing my digital identity so much easier and cleaner. Plus, it feels like owning your own piece of the internet. ENS is one of those rare tools in crypto that’s actually useful, reliable, and future focused. If you’re active in crypto, you should definitely cop an ENS domain.

Ediomo Okon · 1356· 1y ago18“ens.eth is the Backbone of Identity in Web3”There aren’t many names in the space that carry the kind of weight ens.eth does and for good reason. It’s more than just a naming system; it’s infrastructure. The kind of quiet infrastructure that you only really notice once you start relying on it. And then you realize: it’s everywhere. It’s simple, elegant, and does exactly what it says it will. No flash needed. Just utility that works. And in a space full of overpromises, that alone feels revolutionary. ens.eth has become a standard not because they shouted the loudest, but because they solved something fundamental. And they did it well.

0xgarap · 1301· 1y ago18“Wallet Identity”ENS is one of the wonderful innovation in cryprto, it is like a nostalgia for me , we can name our wallet whatever we want and our friends can easily recognize our address and we can easily give them a name instead of a long number . ENS forever ...

Mike · 1277· 1y ago18“Web3 Identity”ENS is the most commonly used username format for Web3 users, replacing long wallet addresses like 0x... with a simple name like yourname.eth. This makes on-chain interactions much easier. With it's integration across many dApps and growing compatibility across multiple chains, ENS has become a reliable and seamless identity solution in the Web3 ecosystem.

kaviar✨ · 1289· 1y ago18“I mean... who doesn't use ENS?”I was late to the game so didn't get any form of airdrop but ENS was probably one of the first (if not the first) to launch a wallet identity product No reason to not give a positive review given their prevalence and track record.

DarylTanky · 1601· 1y ago18“ENS is a project that makes using crypto much easier”Super useful for sending and receiving tokens without copying confusing strings. You can also link other info to your name, like your Twitter or website. Overall, it’s a big step toward making Web3 more user-friendly and personal.

Valhist · 1734· 1y ago18“Original Web3 Usernames.”I still have my ens active, they introduced a very efficient system of having your wallet introduced by a simple name. For wallet addresses on ethereum, it was very convenient to have an ens associated with it and then send assets using that instead of the whole address.

crazyDog · 1696· 1y ago18“ENS: The Identity Layer That Makes Web3 Simple”Using ENS has been a game-changer for me. Instead of relying on those long, cryptic wallet addresses, I now have a clean and memorable ENS name that acts as my identity across Web3. It makes sending and receiving crypto effortless and I no longer worry about copy-paste errors when dealing with transactions. What I love most is that it feels like more than just a shortcut. It’s an identification layer that gives me a recognizable Web3 username and brand that I fully own. It integrates smoothly with wallets, dApps and other tools I use and it adds both convenience and peace of mind. ENS isn’t just a nice feature - It’s become an essential part of my experience in the Ethereum ecosystem. For anyone serious about building their Web3 presence, it’s a must-have.
