“jesse keeps failing upwards...”It's no secret that I dislike Jesse due to my personal experiences with him. Including that time he lied and slandered me on twitter spaces. A lot of the things he did would get any other user slashed and their scores nuked into oblivion. Sadly he gets a lot of leniency, because he is pretty much the face of base - the most farmed chain beloved by users in 3rd world countries. Speak out against Jesse and your voice will be drowned out by his supportive 3rd world farmers. In my opinion that shouldn't justify his behavior. So I will keep calling it out. Some of the highlights that impact my opinion on Jesse are below. But there's too much to highlight everything. One thing is sure tho, there is definitely a pattern of concerning behavior - and it being swept under the rug. Remember the Zora push and "shitcoin everything" movement? Remember Jesse pushing some guy to mint a randoms woman face (a dating app screengrab) because that guy sent her a "wanna get onchain" message? And then Jesse endorsing that Zora shitcoin, before ultimately deleting the tweets when he got backlash for it? I remember. Jesse promotes some low effort grift, gets called out, gives the original a shoutout. Time after time after time. I know multiple teams that either built on base or were meaning to build on Base, but had awful experiences trying to communicate with Jesse / other Base people - all while Jesse/Base were pushing and promoting waka flocka and the worst base-blue recolored slop while not really properly communicating with actual builders. Priorities, amirite? 💀 Then there is the malicious takedown of a discord server over false accusations, slandering people on twitter spaces, botting out negative sentiment (breaking of FTC rules) - all in a singular development. This led to the server being nuked and the accounts of ~3000 people being impacted. Some took to alt accounts to harass the people by disrespecting the artist that has passed. One of them was rb: https://app.ethos.network/activity/review/681982 Meanwhile Jesse started power-posting "Base is for everyone" right after nuking and slandering a base community (3000 users, mainly artists and people deeply involved with the crypto space), and botting down the negative sentiment on his tweets... and then he started endorsing Waka Flocka's newest shitcoin. Guess what happened next? While Jesse was doing undisclosed paid promo with Waka, Waka's token... DUMPED OVER 85% IN 3 HOURS: https://x.com/DegenerateNews/status/1837001118397743243 Jesse was giving him major exposure during that time, and ultimately led to Waka being able to rug more money. Based on waka's posts around the time, it seems like there was a paid (undisclosed) promo between base and flocka - a known grifter. Multiple projects that were about to launch on Base around that time decided to NOT launch on Base due to Jesse's behavior. The worst part is that he didn't even apologize for the server takedown, or his lackeys going after the deceased artist. All he did was botting or deleting every tweet during that time when it got too much negative sentiment in the replies. Just trying to sweep everything under the rug. Every single time. If Base wasn't full of 3rd world farmers sucking up to Jesse ("the face of Base"), then the sentiment around Base would be AWFUL - and Jesse and his actions would be the main reason for that. Jesse is not good for the space. Jesse is not good for Base. The only thing upholding his positive reputation is the massive amount of farmers being pro-Jesse and pro-Base no matter what happens. That's most likely going to change a minute after Base TGE lol

He gave to fantasrdios a fake happy feeling when he deposited 17eth to fantasy, but anyway he helped fantasy top to smoothly transition to base chain, and we're good now.
