“the MEXC gaslighter aka "PR person"”Related to this review: https://app.ethos.network/activity/review/710157/the-crawback-exchange-with-a-twitter-botnet-and-a-very-shady-past Main takeaway is this: https://x.com/WhiteWhaleLabs/status/1983572679715086524 >She (Cecilia Hsueh / @cecilia_hsueh) indicated MEXC was “open” to releasing the funds - if I helped them control the narrative. Soo... 1) freeze user funds of profitable users 2) one user gets enough attention on it 3) MEXC is doing PR damage control 4) MEXC promises to release the funds if the user whose funds were locked promises to control narrative and speak out positively about the exchange 5) funds get released after zachxbt starts looking into the shadow CEO of MEXC https://x.com/JamesRucker21/status/1984230238218514701 I wouldn't trust MEXC or Cecilia. MEXC is ultra shady and Cecilia is a straight up liar and manipulator. MEXC is also running a massive botnet drowning every negative sentiment. https://x.com/miyaspokeofthis/status/1996996578997936530 https://x.com/miyaspokeofthis/status/1997264628695646420 This tweet was full of replies from their botnet, seems most accounts were nuked. I replied to some with a screenshot of looking through their accounts while searching for "MEXC". It was basically just random tweets about football (1%) and mainly MEXC sentiment control (99%). The botnet was always there, but it was in overdrive during the situation with White Whale. This is one of the people I would definitely avoid. She is also ex-Phemex / ex-MorphLabs (aka MorphNetwork) 😅 Definitely not her first rodeo with controlling the narrative around shady behavior.on Cecilia Hsueh · 1360· 4mo ago · negative6
“a true cypherpunk, ethereums strongest warrior :)”Whenever I think of Ethereum, two people immediately come to mind. One is obviously Vitalik. The other is Tim. Tim wholeheartedly loves Ethereum. There are many Ethereum believers out there, myself included, but nobody believes as strong as he does. That's because there are very few people who understand Ethereum as much as he does. We've been long time mutuals. We are in the same communities and we both share a strong belief in cypherpunk values. When I hear the word "cypherpunk" I immediately have to think about Tim. A true cypherpunk. I've met Tim in person during ETH Prague, he is an amazing and humble person. Gave me the milady x RSA munitions shirt I've always wanted and a bunch a of milady zines to give away :) (I've scanned the zine02 if you want to have a read: https://x.com/miyaspokeofthis/status/2053236581629063608) I'll quote a part of the text Tim wrote: >Cypherpunk culture is about faith in a vision of a world made free, and about the spirit required to never stop fighting for that vision, no matter how many others grow weary. >Inside our community is a CROPS promise made manifest: free speech, free software, free association and a free internet. An individual who cannot be censored, on a protocol that cannot be captured, with a culture that cannot kneel. >(...) >Pledge yourself proudly to these values, because we know them to be right and just. Milady. I already loved Ethereum and Milady, but reading that made me love them even more. I love Tim as much as he loves Ethereum. With my whole heart. Milady.on tim-clancy.gwei · 1376· 4mo ago6
“a serious lapse in judgement”You might have seen Syed's recent tweets and calling someone out for not paying back a 11k "loan" - I put loan in quotation marks because that's how he wrote it. The tweets: https://x.com/syedsameer/status/2045347387238179039 https://x.com/syedsameer/status/2045374596199903406 Archived: https://archive.ph/swEzt https://archive.ph/9jxu0 Someone already saved a negative tweet to the person that took the loan - @Krypto_Khaleesi https://app.ethos.network/activity/review/700454/normalize-naming-and-shaming-and-suing-people-who-take-loans-from-you-when-the If you wonder why Syed is getting a negative review - it's because of his serious lapse in judgement. And because it's proof of commingling LLC funds. He manages $650M in assets but gives loans to randoms on crypto twitter - using LLC funds. That was already stupid, but it's ultra retarded to admit to commingling funds on the timeline because a random didn't repay your $11k loan that was made over a telegram message 😹 Some replies mentioned he was just trying to smash, and it would be pretty funny if that's actually the case - because the person he gave a loan to seems like a female impersonator 😹 Either way; publicly broadcasting "I used my LLC wallet to give a personal loan to a twitter random over a telegram message" shows a serious lapse of judgement. (Especially from someone claiming to manage $650m!) And it creates a permanent record that any competent lawyer would weaponize if the LLC ever gets sued or if he has personal creditors trying to argue "alter ego." Very questionable judgment from someone claiming to manage $650m 😹 Syed disliked that mention so he hid every reply mentioning it: https://x.com/miyaspokeofthis/status/2045555789645873260 Oh well, it's all documented anyway. It would be funny if this review is ever used as "Exhibit A" in a lawsuit, as it proves he commingled LLC funds. And it all happened because of a private loan to a random "woman" from crypto twitter. Given from his LLC wallets. Over a telegram message. That it a textbook case of lapse of judgement. And most likely a future "Exhibit A" proving commingling of funds in some court case against his LLC.on Syed Sameer · 1220· 6mo ago · negative6
“Sound was destined to fail”I just found out Soundxyz had to close their platform LOL That's because David (@dgreenstein1) and the people at Sound didn't understand what the users actually wanted. A thing you need to know is that Sound, a failing platform with no product market fit - at one point acquired SoHo. Which was a universally beloved platform that had the best product market fit I've ever seen in web3. But they basically acquired SoHo for the team, hoping they would help them with Sound - which had no users or product market fit. 💀 And that's why after the acquisition they immediately nuked SoHo. Imagine acquiring a successful product and nuking it, just so the team helps you with your FAILING PRODUCT. What the actual fuck were those retards thinking? Sound was a platform that couldn't even get banners right. (https://x.com/miyaspokeofthis/status/1736858471419584713) Imagine recommending 1248x300px if that's not the actual size of the banners - because once you upload the recommended size it asks you to crop it 💀 That's sound for you. Their actual banner size was 895x447px and not the 1248x300px that they asked users to upload. And then it still had the awful dynamic scaling so it looked like shit either way - because the banner always stretched and distorted 💀 That's the platform Sound was. Attention to detail matched their product market fit - they had none of either 😹 For comparison - I've been mourning SoHo since the moment the platform went down in 2023... That's how good it was. https://x.com/miyaspokeofthis/status/1740400253914829077 So yeah, David (@dgreenstein1) and the people behind Sound are most likely the dumbest people in crypto. They shouldn't make any business decisions and you most likely should stay away from anything they're building next. They were sitting on gold with the Sound acquisition, but decided to nuke it to pursue the failing product that Sound was. Very logical business acquisition 💀 I still think about SoHo after more than 2 years since it went down. Sound deserved to fail for how they handled that acquisition. And I'm sure that anything David and the Sound team will try to build next is doomed to fail, because they are the type of people that will pursue failing ideas while acquiring and sunsetting working products universally loved by users - products with a product market fit that comes once a decade. And if you want to read more of my ranting about it, feel free to read it here: https://x.com/miyaspokeofthis/status/2017397059196715098on Vault · 1335· 9mo ago · negative6
“Amazing response time for addressing issues”I talked with the people at Webacy, and their previous wallet flags were happening due to a bug. They were quick to respond, found the underlying cause and deployed a fix - all in 3 days. WOW! While the initial flag was annoying, especially since it showed directly on etherscan cards, the response has been really admirable. Webacy is also not depending on other providers data (as is the case with Trusta x Passport and some others) which is pretty awesome, as teams who choose to use multiple providers to minimize false-positives won't be impacted by tainted data poisoning every provider. Services for filtering bots and sybils should take note, as there are some providers like Trusta/Passport who blindly rely on tainted 3rd party data which causes massive issues - even when projects decide on using multiple providers to minimize false-positives. In that case they would basically get multiple false-positive confirmations from tainted data. As has been the case with Trusta falsely flagging wallets which impacted Passport and Human Score metrics (nuking all onchain activity related scores) Not the case if you use Webacy though, as they just rely on their own data without blindly pulling from 3rd party services :) GG Webacy! Initially I was really annoyed by the false flag since it has been an issue with multiple services - but the way Webacy handled the situation was basically 10/10. Amazing response time and really good communication - especially since I've been slightly annoyed and harsh in my initial outreach. In the time they found the issue and deployed a fix - other services basically haven't addressed the issue at all. Which says a lot.
