snggamer · 1221· 1y ago27“what crypto needs”I only just got introduced to Serpin recently - when I posted something - does anyone have an invite code to Ethos? Someone then tagged him, I thought 'lol what if he actually sees this' so I shoot my shot and ask if he'd be down for an interview for a video I'm making right now (lol). Not only did he offer me an invite code, he said yes to the interview. I am not a big creator. Pretty small really, most people don't always give me the time of day, and I'm on the outside of most inner cliques - so a lot of the time, people kinda just, ignore. But Serpin didn't. And he didn't just do the minimum, he jumped on a call where we spoke for 1.5h. I think that story speaks to his character as a person, and as a founder - he genuinely cares, and, is here to build something that I believe could have some sort of impact on the world - something that is too rare in crypto atm. Beyond that, the conversation we had, restored lot of faith in the industry as a whole for me. I am constantly looking for things that are making some sort of good impact, and I think he + Ethos are trying to do that. Like i said to him when we called 'i feel like an idiot saying i'm here for the tech', but I didn't feel that way talking to him.

The most important thing I see here is how seriously the work is taken. I have seen many social web3 projects, but this one is different from others. I think it will go even further and change many things for web3 in terms of social platform and thanks to the founder of the Ethos network project for making us experience this.

Maddox · 1225· 1y ago19“Lost all respect for him in 48 hours”For somebody who's creating a platform for people to objectively review and judge creators, he has managed to be set in his hate for a certain demographic. Being a founder doesn't make you more than others, and although respect is due for building something, you also have to return that respect to anybody who wants to use your platform wherever they come from. I would say do better, but I guess that would be impossible, at best you'll hide your hate for a while till it inevitably resurfaces.
